With its deep rooted name, "Al-Fares Jewellery" was founded by the late 1880 Abdulmohsen Abdullah Al Fares, brother of the late Mohammed Abdullah Al-Fares. At that time its business was confined to trading of natural pearl, which was amongst the pillars of the Kuwaiti economy then.
